Video restoration FAQ
What is uncensorcloud?
uncensorcloud is AI-assisted video restoration software with a free Windows edition and a paid cloud workflow. It processes user-supplied videos, offers mosaic-region controls and lets you inspect a short preview before full processing.
Can AI remove mosaic perfectly?
No. Mosaic reduction estimates missing detail and cannot guarantee recovery of the authentic original. Results depend on the source and settings. Compare a preview of your own video in motion before processing the full file.
Is the 10-second cloud preview free?
Yes. A signed-in account can generate a free 10-second cloud preview, subject to daily and account limits. Full-video cloud processing requires a verified quote and payment, processing balance or eligible plan minutes.
Do I need an NVIDIA GPU?
The Windows desktop edition requires a compatible NVIDIA GPU and driver. The cloud workflow runs processing on the service GPU, so you do not need to provide a local processing GPU.
Can I process a video that will not play in my browser?
Some supported containers and codecs can be read by the cloud even when browser playback fails. Use automatic mode and a numeric preview start time. Actual stream compatibility is verified by the GPU.
What does a mosaic-reduced result mean?
It means that an AI model has reconstructed a region to reduce the appearance of mosaic. It does not prove that hidden details match an original recording. Keep the source and treat the output as an edited reconstruction.
How much does full cloud processing cost?
Pay-as-you-go processing is $0.10 per video minute at 1080p or $0.30 at 4K, with a $0.50 minimum. Plans include monthly processing allowances. The final price uses verified duration and resolution and is shown before payment.
Are uploaded videos public or used for training?
No. Uploaded footage is stored privately and is not used for model training. Authorized administrators may review it for support or moderation. Sources and results have expiry deadlines shown in the workspace.
